Yes. I know.

Indeed. I know:
  • It's been way too long.
  • There are probably not a lot of people who have missed me/this blog (feel free to proof me wrong!).
  • I don't really have time to blog now either.
  • This blog entry is seemingly meaningless.
  • This blog entry is "spam" and will be published on all 3 blogs.
  • I really should cut to the chase and start blogging instead of babbling.
Dear reader, I will be back (threat or promise, your choice!). This weekend. Because I actually have missed the blog(s) AND do have lots to write about.

So - are you ready for some blogging? Coming your way shortly!

February Haul Part 1

Through some other website I signed up for Dermstore's mailing list a few months ago, and in December I placed an order for their "Mystery Black Bag". When it arrived in January there was a card attached to it with some advertisement about Beautyfix.com. The "Mystery Black Bag" was indeed a version of the Beautyfix sampler. I do love trying out new products, so I signed up for Beautyfix some weeks ago and have now received my first shipment:

The products included in my shipment were:

Jonathan IB Revitalizer Overnight Oil Treatment Spray - 3.8 oz / 108,7 g (full size), worth $40
Chellá Enzyme Exfoliating Crema Mask with lactic acid and sugar cane - 75 ml / 2.5 fl.oz. (full size), worth $60
Exuviance Rejuvenating Treatment Mask - 2.5 fl.oz. / 74 ml (full size), worth $30
Exuviance Age Reverse Eye Contour - .35 oz / 10 g, worth ~ $45
Kerstin Florian Spa Face Aromatherapy Neroli Water - 30 ml / 1 fl.oz., worth ~ $5 (seems to be discontinued)
Lisa Hoffman Night & Day 2 Vitamin A & C Serum - 15 ml / .5 fl.oz, worth $47.50
Canyon Ranch Balance light-weight moisture - 50 ml / 1.7 fl.oz (full size), worth $75

Also, I could choose from a selection of makeup bags and choose these cute grey ones with purple flowers.
There should have been a can of Batiste Original Dry Shampoo as well, but that one got confiscated at my Florida warehouse due to export restrictions on pressurized cans. Too bad, I really need a dry shampoo...

I paid $49,99 for all of these items (ships for free), and doing the math the value sums up to a whopping $272.50!

Fantastic value I'd say. I'm very excited about several of the products, the Exuviance Eye Contour being one of them! It has received fabulous reviews on DaisyBeauty, and we all need a good eye cream, right?

Let me know if you'd like any reviews and/or more info about Beautyfix!

Tina's Sunday Bath, Dec 26th 2010

Time for episode 1 in the new "Tina's Sunday Bath" series. I have been planning this for while, thus the late date - I have 3 more "old" posts coming up, which I hope to post during this week, then I should be up to date.

December 26th - Christmas was over (well, almost), I had to go back to work the following day and was looking for some distraction. What better than a chocolate bath! Heymountain has a lot of Christmas products (some still available, check the website or check back in November!), Chocolat being one of them. Chocolat is a cute brown bunny  fizzing bathbomb with cacaobutter and a chocalatety-citrusy scent.
I like how Heymountain puts a label on all of their products, telling you a bit about the product and listing the ingredients:

Needless to say, this smells divine. I love chocolate (who doesn't?) and bathing in it was just lovely. The only drawback must be the color this bathbomb gives to the water:
Not very pretty, eh? But well, I can oversee that, since the oils in the bathbomb left my skin really soft, so it's going on my re-purchase list!

Chocolat was €4,95 at Heymountain.com.

My favorite hair care product (as of right now...)

The lovely Kicki over at DaisyBeauty has an amazing contest going on right now. Lots of fantastic products from Kérastase to take care of winter tired hair. Winter tired hair, that truly is something I can identify with right now. My hair really leads a life of its own at the moment, scarsely doing what I want it to do and looking quite odd at times. Winning this contest could be the answer to my prayers! And who knows, I might find a new favorite for my hair care routine?

The one hair care product that does save me right now is my Moroccanoil. Started using it a few months ago and I truly hope it will last forever! Not only does it smell divine, but it also keeps my hair nourished and smooth (well, smooth-er should be the right term). Love at first sight, though I must say I was pretty sceptical at first, seeing as my hair can be anything from dry to greasy in a matter of hours. Putting oil on that sounds like a desaster, but I truly believe it's what keeps my hair manageable right now.
